Description

One of the oldest and most iconic products from the Vesuvius area, these cherry tomatoes have a unique pointed tip, known as “col pizzo.” Also called piennoli (meaning “pendulums” in Italian), they are traditionally hung in bunches tied with hemp string. Semi thick skin of ruby red and lively flavor intense and sweet- sour. As they dry, their flavor and fragrance intensify, becoming more concentrated and rich over time. These tomatoes are highly prized for their sweet, tangy taste and are perfect for drying, roasting, or adding to sauces. A true Italian culinary treasure.

My seeds had a 100% germination rate! (As did all the other seeds I ordered from this company) – absolutely will order again and highly recommend!
