Description
Mexican Marigold (Tagetes lucida) — a compact, aromatic perennial with glossy, lance-shaped leaves and clusters of bright yellow to golden-orange daisy-like flowers. Loved for its anise-like, sweet-licorice fragrance, it blooms profusely from late spring through fall in warm climates. Versatile and easy to grow, Mexican marigold attracts pollinators, repels some pests, and is used fresh or dried as a culinary herb and tea (often called Mexican tarragon). In traditional medicine and ritual it’s valued for digestive and calming properties. Excellent for borders, containers, and herb gardens.
