Description
Dark, narrow, heavily savoyed leaves forming a loose, upright rosette. Deep emerald to almost black foliage with a firm midrib; leaves are tender toward the tips and thicker at the base. Flavor: rich, earthy, slightly sweet with a mild cabbage note. Matures 60–85 days. cold-hardy and flavor improves after light frost. Use: sautés, soups, kale chips, braises.
